Women's ministry

       Women's ministry

We desire to nurture, encourage, and equip women through the study of God’s Word. Our passion is to always magnify the Lord and honor Him! As we seek to provide opportunities for spiritual growth and fellowship with one another, we encourage the women to invite their friends, relatives, and co-workers to join us at our studies and special events.

Proverbs 31:25 "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come."

Women's Discipleship & Mentoring

Mentorship and Discipleship are both important in the life of a Christian. Without discipleship, our faith can easily stay in the same place, and we will not push ourselves to grow and share the Gospel with others. Without mentorship, we can be struggling with sin or be in a hard situation and not have someone to walk us through it and find a safe place to speak about our struggles. Both discipleship and mentorship are valuable to the body of Christ. Message us below for more info!
What Is Discipleship & Mentoring?
There are differences between Mentoring and Discipling and there are also similarities.

- Both are relational
- Both involve praying together
- Both involve being led by the Spirit
- Both involve helping women to learn
- Both involve accountability
What Is Discipleship?
- It’s a mutual commitment to come together face-to-face on a regular basis.
- Most discipler/disciplee relationships are short-term, i.e., working through one book or meeting for a “season”.  Other discipling relationships may be longer term.
- It’s “broad” – consider it like an umbrella – it covers the disciplee’s walk with Jesus as a whole.
- The focus is on Spiritual growth & maturity – Issues of faith
Investing in spiritual equipping is the role of disciplers; to help disciplees become strong followers of Christ.
- Disciplers share the Word in a relational way.
- Disciplers help disciples live out their faith.
- Disciplers encourage disciples to be praying/reading their Bibles/sharing the Gospel with others.
- The goal is reproduction – Go and teach others --2 Tim. 2:2 – that disciples will eventually become a discipler
What Is Mentorship?
- These relationships ebb & flow, depending on the needs of the mentee.
- Mentors are typically older than mentees and more spiritually mature.
- They spend time together face-to-face or on the phone or even by text or email.
- It’s a role of assisting.
- Mentors build relationships with mentees and become safe places for mentees to come and share their struggles.
- Mentors walk alongside mentees “doing life”.
- Life issues such as relationships/work/money/health, and the condition of their life are often discussed.
- The relationship allows mentees to express her worries & struggles.
- Mentors are often sounding boards/a listening ear/a compass, speaking Biblical truth to mentees.
- Mentors help guide women in challenging times or simply life in general, providing insight.
- Mentors help mentees make their own decisions BIBLICALLY!
- Mentors help mentees navigate living in a way that honors God.
- Mentors help mentees to grow, be encouraged, strengthened and sharpened
